Merry Christmas to All and to All a Good Life

On this, what originated as a day to celebrate a widely revered spiritual leader - in Jesus Christ - I'd like to take this opportunity to thank God for providing us with his blessings in the form of Jesus' life, and his teachings that have in them more wisdom than the average man could ever hope to conceive and more truths than the average sinner would like to admit.

Whether you believe he was God incarnate or not, you must at least admit that he was a good man who lived for a honorable purpose.

Thank you Jesus for your selflessness and compassion. You showed us the way to live. You showed us the path to the "kingdom of heaven" (within). Your wise words are indeed a key to eternal happiness.

Have yourself a merry Christmas and may you experience great peace and love, and share it with all.

This blog is aimed at providing you with all the knowledge and tools necessary to improve your outlook on life. I've found over the years that the best, if not the only, way to truly become happier, more successful, and an all around better person is to work within. Indeed, your outer world is a reflection of your inner world, so the key clearly lies within your mind. And that's precisely where I will attempt to help you focus your attention and awareness.

I wasn't always a happy person like I am today. I wasn't always an optimist and a delight for other people to be around. I wasn't always seen as a charismatic person with an irresistibly attractive personality. Nor was I a person that people would typically come to for solutions to their problems.

Far from it.

It wasn't too long ago that I was chronically depressed, even borderline suicidal. Everything in my life seemed to bring me more sadness, anger, or fear. I was surrounded by people that I either hated, feared, or envied. I wasn't attractive. People avoided me at all costs. And why shouldn't they? I tried to avoid myself - all those painful and ugly thoughts- too.

After many years of living a life full of stress and depression, I decided that it was time to change.

I first began to research ways to improve. After coming up with a list of methods that seemed feasible - techniques like: hypnosis, meditation, visualization, spiritual development, focused positive thinking (ie positive affirmation), etc - I began testing them on myself.

I tried every method under the sun over the next couple of years with only minimal results. The depression might have lessened a bit, but it still had a noticeable impact on my life. People still seemed to be put-off by my "vibe." I was still stressed out more often than not and very seldom did I ever feel happy.

But I was determined to overcome all of these issues, so I pressed onward. I began reading self-improvement books and searching the Internet for stories similar to my own, hoping that I could find some source of inspiration.

That day finally came when I read a book called Psycho-Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz. In his book, Maltz broke down the human psyche in a way that made sense to me. Reading it gave me a whole new perspective on my struggles and a renewed confidence that I would soon succeed in overcoming them.

That I did, and in a relatively short amount of time at that.

Here I am, roughly 3 years after making what easily amounts to my most intelligent and positively life altering decision, in an attempt to help you do the same...scratch that, HOPING and PRAYING that you do the same.

It might take some time, but the reward is FAR and WELL ABOVE the risk of any wasted efforts. Take a chance, make the decision and COMMIT yourself to your goals. I guarantee that you won't regret it.
